More than two months in Brazil bumming around and "partying" everyday, made me feel so guilty that on my last days there I couldn't wait to come back to my aussie life and put myself back on track again. Since I came back to Sydney I've been having a few different attitudes in my life, and decided to be more organized and responsible about every thing, leaving behind stupid old habits, and really make old plans happen. Moving out of the cavern, working and studing properly and hard, eating better, working out even more than before, and cooking (yeah, now I can cook!), are just a few of my resolutions for this year.

This website has a collection of deep sea life's pictures. The animals are incredible weird and ugly, and sometimes it’s hard to believe they are real and not just one of those movie monsters. I've read that 90% of deep sea life is still unknown...

Me, myself, and God... and the bugs.

Nothing better than getting home after a long day at work and have the whole house just for myself. Even better in this house where moments like that are almost impossible, cos the 4 young dudes who live here are always inviting people over. But, yeah, tonight I was surprised when opening the door I saw no one but the bugs, and everything quite and off. From 8 to midnight, I had the whole place just for myself, and could enjoy having dinner alone, watching the channel I wanted on TV, having the whole couch to lay down, and even walking naked from my room to the bathroom... Hehe.

Hehehehehe, this is a great stop-motion animation by Nick Park called "Creature Comforts". It’s hilarious! The animals expression and body language is amazing, and their voices is the coolest thing ever (it seem that the Portuguese from Portugal version is even funnier). The Brazilian tiger (jaguar, onça, or whatever) with the Brazilian accent is the best! Hehehehe... Watch it:

Velório português

Um brasileiro, de passagem por Lisboa, foi surpreendido com a notícia de que um amigo seu, português, havia falecido e seria enterrado naquela tarde. Chateado com a situação, a perda de um amigo do peito, procurou saber onde seria o velório e para lá partiu.
Ao chegar, viu que no caixão estava o morto inteiramente nu e ao lado um grande pote cheio de creme, no qual cada um dos presentes metia a mão e após apanhar um pouco, passava sobre o defunto. Surpreendido pela cena, coisa inusitada para ele, aproximou-se da esposa e perguntou:

- Desculpe-me a ignorância, mas o que estão fazendo é tradição por aqui?

Ao que a esposa respondeu:

- Não! É algo inusitado. Nunca fizemos. É que ele pediu para ser cremado...
