Red Hot Chili Peppers - Aeroplane (2:52)

"Just one note
Could make me float
Could make me float away
One note from
The song she wrote
Could fuck me where I lay
Just one note
Could make me choke
One note that's not a lie
Just one note
Could cut my throat
One note could make me die"

Australia effect

More than a week in Brazil and I’m still having problems when speaking to people that are not from my family, or my friends. Like, a few hours ago I was in a restaurant with my father having lunch, and I said “thanks” instead of “obrigado” to the waiter.
The other day I was walking alone in a shopping center and got surprised with a couple speaking Portuguese to each other, just like I get when I hear Brazilians in Australia… Tosco!

Nudel has just came back from Luna’s xmas party. He left a message saying that it was fucking awesome and the girl he met was the best ever in Australia. I really wanted to go… :/

My friend Samy, who is living in Los Angeles, came for holidays to visit his family in Brazil too. Saturday night, after his mother’s bbq in Atibaia, we were high and spent the whole travel back to São Paulo speaking English to each other in my car. Then my mother called me, and instead of “alô”, I said “hello”… She couldn’t believe how dork I’m.

“- So you live in Australia??? That’s cool, dude! Is it true that people ride kangaroos, and have to be careful with boomerangs flying everywhere???
- Yeah, sure! Just like here that everyone can play soccer, and live on trees!”

A memorable day

"Pimper´s Paradise"

Wednesday, December 13, 2006

Hehehe... Tosco!

"Zé tem uma pipa, ou uma pipa tem Zé?"

O quê está acima?

Not much, haven’t been outside home since I got in the country. Dunno, just don’t have energy enough to, and knowing that I have 2 months ahead, just don’t make feel bad for wasting time doing nothing. Besides, this bloody “jetlag” is a tough thing. I though I would be able to handle that this time, but nop. It’s really hard. Yesterday and today I slept for the whole day, and after my family left the house for dinner, I just went to bed at around 6am... Crazy. I was suppose to visit a few friends, or just quickly go out to buy a few things that I need, as a SIM to my mobile, but, as I said, just don’t have energy enough to. My bright and clean parents’ house is just great and perfect. Turning on the TV in my room, watching some old TV shows that before I didn’t even use to enjoy, flipping through the house’s magazines, or even the annoying yelling kids outside playing soccer or whatever, have been awesome and relaxing, just for the simple fact that everything is 100% understandable, not 90% as in English.
Anyway, I love being here. I love my country. I love my people. I love my culture. I love being home. I just hate jetlag. :/
