Today at school I did a very good presentation of my "Luna Park Customer Service Guide", as a final assignment for the Customer Service Strategies class. The teacher was like... “Congratulations Hose, well done. Very good English!” and all the students are now curious about Luna Park, and wanna visit it one day.
Yeah, I’m proud about my English, hehehe. :P It’s still not perfect, but comparing to how crap it was 2 years ago when I first got here, it has been A LOT improved! I can easily talk and understand everyone in this country, and, fuck, I tell you... That’s definitely one of the best feelings about living in another country! :) The only problem is my accent, almost impossible to lose it... :/ Ah well, at least some people, like customers at work, say it’s “sexy”, hehehehe.
Speaking about work... Luna Park has been very enjoyable lately, and I’m actually still “loving” working there. Every time I come back from holydays I get “nijgth” of it, but just a few days working is enough to make me feel good again. There’s no better environment to work than Luna Park, and that’s one of the biggest reasons I’m still working there. These last weeks were great, and it was piece of cake working 7 hours in a row talking to customers, and meeting new workmates all the time. It’s all a matter of knowing how to see the good, and fun points of it. I reckon it will be a bit sad to say goodbye when I come back from my holydays. Maybe I’ll stay a little bit more... Just a tiny bit...
What else? Mmmmm... The luggage! Done in record time! That’s another thing I’ve been improving in my life. I really should write a book “How to Pack Smartly”, with chapters like... “Saving rooms in the luggage”, “Protecting bottles and gifts efficiently”, etc... Now I just need to burn a few CDs with works that I’ve done for clients these last months, and close it. Yeah... The idea is to start reorganizing my portfolio while I’m in São Paulo, and get it ready for my return. I won’t (can’t) spend my whole time there just partying, and bumming around.
Well, that’s it, dudes... See yous on the other side soon.
Tchau.
