Yeah, we were planing to spend a few days in the city, but in Byron (which is 1 hour from there) we met some others backpackers who told us that there wasn’t much to do than just have a juice (or whatever), buy some marijuana, and go back to civilization. I reckon it was exactly that... We went to Nimbin with an (crazy) excursion to spend 2 hours there, and that was it. The city is just a street with little shops, bars, cafes, one museum, a police station, and a few other things, nothing else. All along the street people of all ages (majority hippies) keep trying to sell you marijuana and marijuana cookies. It’s unbelievable how explicit and "legalize" it's there. I dunno, but I heard that australian police kinda pretend that doesn't know anything about what goes on in the city, meanwhile their business are growing up, the city getting known around the world, and Australia making money with that. Well, fair enough… Who wouldn’t like to live near a place like that, just to spend a few hours, have something to drink, and coming back supplied?
